A recent statistic put the number of undiscovered shipwrecks littering the ocean floor in the millions. Guinness or Ripley’s would more impressively render this number by telling one how far, if stacked end to end, those shipwrecks would reach.
At this portmanteau of a blog, two acquaintances and I dredge the shadowlands for undiscovered films, sometimes directed by, scored by, or starring Names, but more often the product of obscure (or even translucent) artists.
While I have no statistic to justify my claim, surely if one unspooled all of the tenuous, decaying celluloid that clutters warehouses across the globe, it would reach very far indeed.
